Frequently asked questions

We're here to help with any questions you have about access controls

What’s the difference between collaborator access and share links?

Collaborators log in to the project itself, and have tiered permissions. Share links are flexible, public-facing streaming playlists that you control.

Can I limit what different collaborators can do?

Yes. You can assign access levels individually like view-only, file upload, or full edit access.

Can I protect a link with a password?

Yes. When creating a share link, you can enable password protection to restrict access.

Can I turn off downloads?

Absolutely. Downloads can be turned on or off for any share link. Pro tip for engineers: try waiting to enable downloads until after your client has paid you.

Can I revoke access later?

Yes. You can remove collaborators, and set share links to "Hidden" at any time.

Is all the data encrypted?

Yes. All data is encrypted both at rest and during transfer. Unauthorized users can’t even detect that a file exists.

Can I track who listened or downloaded?

Yes. Listener stats give you insight into engagement. This is great for both security and feedback.
