Frequently asked questions

We're here to help with any questions you have about comments and markers.

Do people need an account to leave comments?

No. They just click the share link, type their name, and leave timeline comments. No install, no login.

Can I label sections like “Intro” or “Chorus”?

Yes. You can mark, name, and loop any range of audio. Perfect for songwriting, arrangement, or mix review.

Can I delete or edit a comment after it’s made?

Not at this time. To allow no-signup commenting, edits and deletions are disabled. We’re working on adding editable options for logged-in users.

Do comments stay connected to specific versions?

Yes. Comments are tied to the version they were made on. You can even compare notes from one version while listening to another.

How is this different from SoundCloud comments?

Sound Credit comments are per-version and permission-based. You control visibility, downloads, and exactly who can leave feedback.

Are comments secure?

Yes. You choose who can comment. Shared links can be public, password-protected, or limited to verified collaborators.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Comments and markers are fully accessible from mobile, so you can leave feedback anywhere.
