Just save, and you’re live

Export your mix, master, or stem straight from your DAW to a Sound Credit folder. The desktop sync applet watches that folder and uploads instantly. Your team can stream it seconds later, without waiting for an upload or switching tools.

Smart version detection built in

Bounced files are automatically versioned. Sound Credit detects which track your file belongs to based on name and metadata—so “final_v3.wav” lands right where it should. Your version stacks stay clean and complete.

Frequently asked questions

We're here to help with any questions you have about the bounce-to-folder workflow.

How does this connect with the rest of Sound Credit?

The bounce-to-folder workflow is part of Desktop Sync. When you save to the watched folder, it uploads into your project automatically.

Does it work with any DAW?

Yes. As long as your DAW can export to a folder on your computer, this works.

Can I use subfolders?

Yes. Create subfolders like “Instrumentals” or “TV Mixes.” They’ll show up in your project just as you arranged them.

What if I bounce the same file name twice?

The new file will be added as a version if it’s changed—or ignored if it hasn’t. Sound Credit uses smart version tracking.

Do I need to log in or open the app to make it work?

No. Once the sync applet is running, everything happens in the background. Just bounce to the right folder.

Is this better than using Dropbox and Google Drive?

Yes. Dropbox and Google Drive don’t know what version a track is or how it relates to the others. Sound Credit does. It’s built for music, not generic storage.

Does it work on both Mac and PC?

Yes. Desktop Sync and bounce-to-folder work on both platforms with full feature parity.
