What is a project in Sound Credit?

What kinds of files can I store in a project?

Projects support audio files, videos, artwork, contracts, stems, alternate mixes, or any file related to your release.

How is this different from Dropbox, Google Drive, etc?

Those services are just generic file folders. Sound Credit Projects are purpose-built for music with version tracking, credits, playback, commenting, and streaming-style links.

Can other collaborators enter their own credits?

Yes. You can give access to collaborators so they can enter or suggest their own credits. No more chasing down info. Then you can approve or reject their suggestions.

Can I organize songs in albums or folders?

Yes. Projects can have subfolders, so you can group alternate versions, TV mixes, or sessions however you like. And each song can hold multiple recording versions.

Does every new project have unique artwork?

Each new project is assigned 1 of 8 artfully designed simple images. Then you can replace it with your own custom artwork at any time. Just click and upload.

Is the data in my projects encrypted?

Yes. Files, metadata, and passwords are encrypted both at rest and in transit to ensure your privacy and security.
